For a day you will always remember this beautiful island offers the perfect location for your dream wedding. Exotic locations, traditional taverna's, hotels with butler service, horse and carriage, magnificent churches, apartments and villas in pretty villages and of course the sunshine and balmy sea breezes an enchanting atmosphere to stage a memorable occasion.

Here are some of the questions that we find most frequently asked;

Q Is our wedding legally recognised in the UK?

A Cyprus weddings are completely legal and recognised by UK law.

Q What documents do we need to bring:

Q How will my guests get there, what about travel and accommodation?

A There is many types of accommodation available, from luxury hotels with butler service, villas with private pools, to self contained apartments. Flights can be arranged for you by your Cyprus wedding organiser.

Q Will the ceremony be in English?

A Yes all ceremonies are conducted in English.

Q How far in advance do we have to book our wedding?

A It is becoming very popular to be married in Cyprus and therefore it is necessary to give as much notice as possible. Wedding organisers will always try to get the dates you want but would request that you give them at least 3 dates to work with.

Q Are the wedding vows the same as in England and can we add to them if we wish?

A The wedding vows are the same as in England any amendments may be considered if sufficient time is given.

Q Can we have our wedding videoed?

A Photographers will have the required equipment to video and photograph your wedding to you own specification.

Q Will we need witnesses?

A Yes two witnesses over the age of 18. We can supply if needed.

Q Should I bring my own Bouquet, what about flowers?

A Cyprus has some beautiful flowers, traditional or native species that can be made into bouquets, table decorations, button holes etc.

Q What about a wedding cake?

A This will be made to your specification by local bakers.

Q Is there a limit to how many guests I can have?

A If you advise your wedding organiser of the number of quests, they can recommend the venues most suitable.

Q Can I bring my own wedding dress?

A It is best to check with the airline you will be travelling with, some have space to hang your dress to preventing too much creasing, but if you have to pack it then we can arrange to have it pressed before the big day. Alternatively you will be able to hire or purchase a dress in Cyprus.

Q Can I have music in the church or town hall?

A If you have a favourite CD you would like played at the ceremony then please bring this with you.

Q Where will my reception be?

A You can choose a traditional Cypriot tavern, restaurant or hotel.

Q What about transport?

A Most people choose a white Mercedes decorated with ribbons, but you can have a pony and trap or a traditional village bus.
