Akti Olympion A' is a 2 kilometres long, 40 metres wide sandy beach with moderate waves. It has pedestrian footpaths, bicycle lanes and ample parking. The sand is dark grey. The beach is accessible by car, motorcycle, bicycle and bus and on foot. Lifeguards are on duty with life saving equipment every day during the bathing season from 09:00 to 17:00 hours.

A number of other facilities are available along the coast or within walking distance. These include: First aid, children’s playground, coffee shops, restaurants, bars, convenience stores, cycling lanes, a pedestrian zone, a security patrol area, public transport, an environmental info point, anchorage, beach volley, shopping and accommodation.

A large beach, 1.500 metres long by 90 metres wide, there is ample room for bathers. Sports fans can water ski, windsurf, sail and paraglide. Pissouri Beach is proud of its free facilities. Two changing rooms, toilets and shower points are available for public use. Moreover, an adequate number of fully equipped lifeguards patrol the area in the summer season.
